Pastor Jim McGown

~ Welcome from Pastor Jim ~

Our vision at Reata is to be a church that practices the principles of God's Word daily, shares the message of God's Word as we have opportunity, and partners with other Christians to advance the kingdom of God in our community.

Our Sunday morning worship is a blend of both contemporary music and traditional hymns that assist each worshipper in his/her worship experience. The messages are biblically based with practical application to our lives today. Our services begin at 10:45 am. We also have a children’s worship time during our worship service.

Our Awana ministry that meets on Wednesday evenings is geared toward children and gives each child a chance to learn about God and His Word. The children are memorizing scriptures weekly. If you are looking for a place that your child can learn and grow, then Awana is the place for YOU! The ages are 3 years old by September 1st through 7th grade. Awana check-in is at 6:15 pm and class ends at 8:00 pm. We have an adult Bible study group that meets in a neighboring home during Awana each Wednesday from 6:45 pm to 8:00 pm.  Feel free to call the church at (509) 628-8272 for more information about Awana and the Adult Bible Study.

You will want to check out our adult LifeGroups. These are small groups of adults that meet for Bible study each Sunday at 9:30 am and are involved in fellowship and ministry outside of the Sunday morning time. This allows for meaningful relationships to develop within the group. Feel free to visit each LifeGroup before deciding which group you want to be a part of. We also have Sunday School classes for all ages on Sundays at 9:30 am from the babies up through youth.

Our invitation is simple: Come and see!

Blessings,
Pastor Jim
