What is MOPS?
MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers. Reata Springs MOPS exists to meet the needs of every mom - urban, suburban, and rural moms, stay-at-home and working moms, teen, single, and married moms - moms with different lifestyles who all share a similar desire to be the very best moms they can be! We realize that the years from infancy to kindergarten are foundational in a mother-child relationship and are filled with unique needs.

Who are MOPS?
If you are a mother of child who is kindergarten age or younger, you are!

What does a typical MOPS meeting look like?
MOPS is fun! When you arrive, you may take your child/children to the MOPPETS classrooms. Then its time to mingle and grab a cup of coffee. We then have a yummy brunch (we take turns bringing the food to share). Then we welcome a guest speaker, make a fun craft or have a discussion time. Finally, it's time to pick up those precious little ones and leave refreshed for another month.

When are your meetings?
MOPS meets during the school year from September through May. Our group meets the first Monday of the month, except for September (because of Labor Day) and April (because of Spring Break). We will meet the second Monday of the month on those two months. Our meeting dates are: September 10th, October 1st, November 5th, December 3rd, January 7th, February 4th, March 3rd, April 14th, and May 5th. We meet from 9:00-11:15 in the morning. We also have outside activities between meetings such as playdates at the park, children’s museum or McDonalds, MOPS Night Out, and other fun activities throughout the year.
